He made a big statement about beef
Meanwhile, during a program in Islamabad, a representative of the media asked Zakir Naik that beef has been banned in India and should the Muslims there follow this ban? Naik said, I have a personal opinion and an Islamic opinion on this. According to Islamic Shari’a you must follow the laws of the country you live in. But, we should check whether that country is not against the rules of Allah and the Prophet. For example, if a country bans prayer, it cannot be considered a law. Because in Islam it is mandatory to recite Namaz. Beef ban in India is a political issue. In fact millions of Hindus also eat beef.
