Dhaka : Nobel Prize Winner Economist Prof. The interim government in Bangladesh, led by Mohammad Yunus, will be sworn in on Thursday. Chief of Army Staff General Waqer-uz-Zaman gave this information in a press conference on Wednesday. The swearing-in ceremony of the caretaker government is likely to take place at 8 pm on Thursday. Army chief Zaman said that the government’s advisory committee consists of 15 members. Meanwhile, Yunus will return to Bangladesh from Paris on Thursday to take over as Prime Minister.

A day after he fled the country, 84-year-old economist Yunus was appointed head of the interim government by President Muhammad Shahabuddin on Tuesday. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, Mohammad Yunus appealed to everyone to remain calm and refrain from all forms of violence.
After the overthrow of Sheikh Hasina’s government, there have been major changes in the security system in Bangladesh. Amid reports of attacks on security personnel and their offices, a senior police officer had appealed to every member of the force to gradually resume duties and maintain law and order in the violence-hit areas. Traffic management by students
Chaos continues in Bangladesh after the overthrow of the Hasina government. For the second consecutive day on Wednesday, students managed the traffic as volunteers. Students along with members of ‘Bangladesh Scouts’ were controlling traffic at several places, a local newspaper said. Meanwhile, police were absent to maintain law and order or manage traffic, local media reported. Hasina’s stay in Delhi!
Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will stay in Delhi for some time, her son Sajeeb Wazed Joy informed on Wednesday. In an interview with a website in Germany, Joy was asked about Hasina’s asylum plans. Responding to that, Joy said that there are a lot of rumors being spread right now. Hasina has not taken any decision yet. They will stay in Delhi for some time, my sister is with them, he said.

President Mohammad Shahabuddin dissolved Bangladesh’s parliament on Tuesday and appointed Mohammad Yunus, an economist, as head of the interim government. The protesting student movement had rejected the demand to make him the head of the government. Due to this, he was entrusted with the leadership of the provisional government. Mohammad Yunus is globally known as ‘The Father of Microfinance’. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006 for empowering women through poverty alleviation.
