[Reporter Jiang Zhixiong/Yilan Report]The Yilan County National Traditional Arts Center’s “Successors’ Stage” will continue to be performed during the summer vacation, inviting the successors of national treasure artists to perform in turns. The event is free and open to the public.
The performance categories of this year’s “Successors of Good Stage” in Yilan Chuanyi Park include rap, Manchu folk songs, puppet opera, Nanguan opera, Gezi opera, Beiguan music, Beiguan opera, Paiwan mouth and nose flute. Activities in the second half of the year From summer vacation to November.
The first summer show on July 1st is the rap program of the Smiling Singing Song Group, which interprets the chivalrous story of robbing the rich and helping the poor and the legend of Liao Tianding. It will be continued by the Pingtung County Manzhou Township Folklore Association and will be composed by combining traditional Manchu folk songs. The lyrics tell the life of the artist Zhang Rigui, and there are also performances by the Paiwan ethnic group, nose flute troupe, puppet theater troupe, Gezi opera, and the North-South Guan troupe.
Yilan Chuanyi Park stated that “Successor Good Stage” has performed nearly 200 performances in the first half of this year, attracting about 20,000 spectators. In July, it will launch performances in the second half of the year, with two performances a day, at 11:30 am. , 3 p.m., performance at the Folk Art Hall in the park (the Folk Art Hall is closed every Wednesday), each performance lasts 40 minutes.
