Yakult professional baseball team’s outfielder Norichika Aoki (42) started the match against Hiroshima at Jingu Stadium on the 2nd as the “No. 1/midfielder”. In the second at-bat of the second inning, Hiroshima’s Hiroki Tokoda hit a ball to the left field, and Santana survived with a 3-run hit over the right field.

The 2,483rd game between Japan and the United States was the last game of his active career.[Yu Kishimoto]
