In addition to activities such as camps and exhibitions, “animated movies” rich in cultural and artistic aesthetic concepts are also a good option. Xinyi Foundation has selected four animation works with the theme of “Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)” from among the many international award-winning works in the “Xinyi Children’s Animation Award” professional group over the past 15 years. Since July 7 It will be released in Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung from today. The three places have invited animation professional lecturers to conduct post-screening discussions and exchanges, so that parents and children in the video generation can have a deeper understanding of the meaning of the SDGs.

Protecting the environment has become a top priority in education. Liao Ruiwen, Chief Operating Officer of the Xinyi Foundation, said that since its establishment in 2009, the “Xinyi Children’s Animation Award” has gradually expanded its award collection and has become a platform for international animation creators to compete. Over the past ten years, we have found from previous award-winning works that “environmental issues” are the theme that creators are most concerned about. We can get a glimpse of the feelings of extreme climate and environmental crises around the world, from climate change, water shortage crisis, environmental pollution, ecological conservation and other aspects, all reveal a true concern for nature and a desire for environmental sustainability.
