At around 4:15 pm on September 30th, a fishing boat called 118 about “something that looked like a person floating” about 40 kilometers west of Fukui Port. According to the Fukui Coast Guard Station, the body of a woman was found, and the word “Kisan” was handwritten on the dark jersey she was wearing. Due to record heavy rains in the Noto region of Ishikawa Prefecture, we have been unable to contact Kiso Hanon (14), a third-year junior high school student in Wajima City, and we believe it may be Kizo. Proceed with identity verification.

According to the Coast Guard, the body may have been washed away by the current. A fishing boat sailing nearby reported the incident.

Heavy rains that hit the Noto region on September 21 made it impossible to contact Kizo and Miki Nakayama (31) from Wajima City.
