Kochi: After being accused in a rape case, film star Nivin Pauly responded to the allegations. Nivin Pauly said that a fake rape complaint has been filed against him. Nivin Pauly added that he will go to any lengths to prove his innocence.

Steps will be taken to bring to light those who are behind the false allegations. Nivin Pauly said in a Facebook note that legal action will be taken in the case. After the Facebook post, Nivin Pauly held a press conference and explained the matter. The girl who filed the complaint has not been seen or spoken to. A month and a half ago, the police was called in a case related to this. The police said that it was a fake complaint and it might have been made for fame. Nivin Pauly said that he is 100 percent justified.

Only one of the six accused in the case is known. Nivin Pauly requested the media to stay with him even if he proves his innocence.

The woman’s complaint against Nivin Pauly is that he sexually harassed her by promising her an opportunity to act. In this, the Ernakulam Oonunkal police registered a case under the non-bailable sections.

The complaint of the woman, a native of Neriyamangalam Oonunkal, is that she was molested while abroad. In the complaint, along with Nivin Pauly, some others were also tortured. The woman filed a complaint last day. Six accused including Nivin Pauly.

The police said that the woman’s complaint will be handed over to a special team that investigates sexual harassment revelations in the film industry.
