In March of this year, he posted to X with the comment, “My sex room is complete, but I don’t have anyone to do it with.” It was a photo of a sophisticated room decorated in an all-grey color scheme, with indirect lighting, potted plants, room fragrance, and even a cute stuffed animal by Chiikawa.

At first glance, it just looks like a stylish room, but when you see the photo of the room along with the dubious comment, it somehow starts to look like that, and it quickly went viral online. Comments included, “This is a great room for sex,” “I want to see how good the indirect lighting creates the atmosphere!”, “Don’t show Chiikawa weird stuff,” “For men, Chiikawa stuffed toys are basically adult toys,” and “I’ll make this when I move.”

The person who posted this room is a 22-year-old programmer named Furan (@furan_dayoo) who lives in the Kanto region. What on earth made him want to create a room for sex?

“I was originally living alone in Shiga Prefecture, but when I got a job this spring and moved to an apartment in Tokyo, I changed all my furniture. The photo shows the loft, not the bedroom. I wanted to turn the loft into a stylish bedroom, but before I knew it, it had started to look like a lovesick room lol” (Fuurou, same below)
