Kothamangalam: Parukutty, who came out of the forest in Kuttampuzha, reflected that he spent one night in the forest on top of a big rock the size of a barn. Paru said that they got into the forest by mistake and did not sleep well that night. He stood on a big rock. No matter where the elephant comes from, we cannot be caught. They said that it was so dark that they could not even see the person next to them. The three women who entered the forest in search of a cow were found on Friday morning after hours of searching.

“We came to the check dam without going astray. After that, he lost his way. Instead of going forward, it went backwards. It is the path that the elephant has walked. That’s how he got into the forest. Paula never closed her eyes at night. The elephant was around until half past two in the morning. But no harm was done. We stood on a big rock. It is the size of a barn. No matter where the elephant comes from, we cannot be caught. We had the flexibility to change even if we had to get stuck in the arms and legs. Puthanpura Darly Stephen, Malikekudi Maya Jayan and Bandhu Kavungkudi Parukutty Kunjumon, natives of Kuttampuzha Attikalam, are missing. The search was resumed in the morning led by forest department staff, fire force, locals and forest watchers. They were found by a group of about 25 people.
