Vatican City: Pope Francis expressed condolences and prayers in the Wayanad landslide disaster that gripped Kerala.

The Pope was addressing the faithful gathered in St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican on Sunday. During the prayer, the Pope recalled the death toll and extensive damage caused by the landslide.

He called upon the bereaved and the afflicted to join him in prayer. World leaders including US President Joe Biden, Saudi King and Crown Prince have expressed their condolences on the Wayanad disaster.
