The two candidates running for Kochi Ward 1 are, in the order of notification, former Liberal Democratic Party candidate and Defense Minister Gen Nakatani, and former Constitutional Democratic Party candidate Norio Takeuchi.
Kochi 2nd Ward
The two candidates running for Kochi 2nd Ward are, in order of filing, Japan Communist Party newcomer Yuriko Hamakawa and former Liberal Democratic Party candidate Sanao Ozaki.
