Coach Akos, who faced criticism after the disqualification of Vinesh Phogat from the Olympics, said in a Facebook post on Thursday that the team did everything possible before the weigh-in the next day so that Vinesh could play in the final.

Akos said in a Facebook post, 2.7 kg extra weight after the semi-finals; Exercised for an hour and twenty minutes, but 1.5 kg was still left. Later, after a 50-minute sauna bath, she didn’t break a sweat. There was no choice and then from midnight to 5:30 in the morning, she worked on various cardio machines and wrestling moves, doing the same thing for about a quarter of an hour at a time, only taking a break of two or three minutes before starting again. Once she collapsed on the floor, but somehow we got her up and she spent an hour in the sauna. I’m not going to write something dramatic on purpose, but I thought she would have died that night while losing weight. “

She requested to keep these medals for herself as they are special. But he explained to her that the journey is important and their achievements are not highlighted by medals,” he wrote.
