Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” again attacked by environmental activist group with “soup” poured on them

Van Gogh’s painting “Sunflowers” has once again been damaged by an environmental activist group.

Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers” on display at the National Gallery in London, England. Suddenly, two people standing in front of the work threw a yellow liquid at it.

British media reported on the 27th that three members of the environmental activist group Just Stop Oil were arrested after pouring a liquid believed to be soup on two of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. The work was protected by glass and was safe.

Just Stop Oil also souped up one of its works in 2022, and the two culprits were found guilty. This time, it appears to be a protest against that ruling.
