June 9 (AFP) – A ceremony was held at the Arc de Triomphe in Paris on June 8 to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Normandy landings. President Emmanuel Macron attended with US President Joe Biden, who is on a visit to France, and laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and exchanged words with veterans.
