The results of an investigation into sexual assaults by the former Johnny & Associates will be reported at a United Nations Human Rights Council meeting in Switzerland on the 26th. Victims who will be participating have also arrived at the site.

On the 26th, at the International Human Rights Council meeting being held in Geneva, Switzerland, the Working Group on Business and Human Rights will officially report the results of its investigation into human rights violations in Japan.

Regarding the issue of sexual assault by Johnny Kitagawa, experts from a working group that visited Japan last summer stated in a report released last month that “deep concerns remain” and that there is “a long way to go” towards providing relief to the victims.

Participating countries and NGOs that received the reports were also scheduled to speak at the meeting, and on the evening of the 25th, former Johnny’s Jr. member and victim, Akira Nihonju, also arrived at the site.

Nihongi will also be participating in an event after the meeting to call for the eradication of sexual abuse of children.
