The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said on November 25 that 61 trucks had delivered medical supplies, food and drink to the northern Gaza Strip.

A further 200 convoys had left Nitzana in Israel, heading towards Gaza, 187 of which crossed the border in the evening, OCHA said in a statement.

Additionally, 11 ambulances, three buses and one flatbed truck were delivered to Al-Shifa hospital, Gaza’s largest, to help evacuate displaced people.

OCHA said 137 truckloads of aid were delivered to Gaza on the eve of the first day of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. (c)AFP
