The European Union has signed a security agreement with Ukraine, which includes negotiating the necessary assistance within 24 hours if Ukraine is attacked in the future.
On the 27th, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Brussels, Belgium, where the EU summit is being held, and signed a security agreement with EU President Michel and others.
The agreement includes nine items, such as the provision of weapons and continued military training to Ukraine, and also clearly states that if Ukraine comes under attack in the future, discussions on assistance for Ukraine will be held within 24 hours.
Ukraine began accession negotiations with the EU on the 25th, but the road to membership is expected to be a long one as fighting with Russia continues.
The agreement will remain valid as long as Ukraine pursues its European path.
