[Washington Kyodo]On the 30th, former President Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the U.S. presidential election, performed in the battleground state of Wisconsin in the midwestern region, riding in a garbage truck before a rally. After a comedian who supports him drew criticism for calling the Caribbean island of Puerto Rico a “trash island,” President Biden took advantage of it after he reportedly described Trump supporters as “trash.” I fought back.

Trump took to the stage wearing a garbage collector’s safety vest and criticized him for calling my supporters garbage. He accused Biden and Democratic nominee Vice President Harris of showing their true colors in their comments. (Kyodo News)
