Trade Association, Service Upgrade
A trade consultation service using ChatGPT4, a generative artificial intelligence (AI), will be launched in Korea.
The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 1st that it will launch the ‘Trade Pro AI consulting service’ starting this month.
The KITA explained that this is the first time in Korea that generative AI has been used in trade consultation provided to export companies.
Trade Pro is a service introduced by the martial arts association in 2022, and 51 experts provide one-on-one consultation in the field of trade over the phone or online.
Previously, AI search engines were used to provide answers to similar questions.
The martial arts association explained that this upgrade provides faster, more diverse, and more accurate answers. Generative AI has learned a large amount of expert consultation cases, trade practice data, various trade-related laws, and export support business information accumulated so far.
Park Seong-hwan, head of the KITA Trade Promotion Headquarters, said, “We expect to be able to provide quick and efficient consultation to export companies through the newly launched generative AI-based trade consultation service,” adding, “We will continue to expand AI learning of trade-related data to expand the scope of answers.” “We plan to continue to enhance our trade consulting services,” he said.
