Kikuchi Fuma of the three-member group timelesz, along with comedians Yokozawa Natsuko and Maruyama Rei, have been appointed as the MCs of ABEMA’s popular romance show “Wolf” series’ latest installment, “Don’t Fall in Love with You and the Wolf,” and recently attended a joint press conference after the recording.

This season, five “high school girls who are the talk of the industry” – model Emily Hijikata, Seventeen magazine model Misaki Irie, talent Kasumi Tsuji, Popteen magazine model An Yamamoto, and actor Maho Horiguchi – will come together to follow in real time, with some parts being live broadcasts, as they take on serious love with eight “handsome, best boyfriend candidates” who are hiding “lying wolves” pretending to be in love.

This will be Kikuchi’s first time appearing on an “ABEMA” program, and also her first time as the MC of a romance show. When asked how she feels, she said, “It’s my first time (as the MC of a romance show), but when I tried it today, it didn’t feel like my first time. I was so immersed in it, and I had so much fun,” looking back on the first recording, and continued, “I want to empathize with everyone. I think it would be interesting to just focus on one person, but since I’m here as the MC, I want to empathize with everyone.”

He also seemed to be worried when he first received the offer, saying, “I thought the participants were a little younger than me, so I wondered how it would turn out.” However, after the first recording, he showed enthusiasm, saying, “It’s three times more fun than I thought it would be. There are different ways to enjoy it depending on your age. I’m engrossed in the show because I think it brings out all kinds of emotions in everyone who watches it. I can’t wait to see the next episode.”

Yokozawa, who has been the MC since the first series, said with a smile about Kikuchi’s MCing, “It was really refreshing and fun to hear the opinions of the men.” Maruyama teased him, saying, “When I see the male members’ actions, I say, ‘Let’s do this,’ so I ask, ‘Excuse me, but will you give it back to us?’ (laughs),” drawing laughter.

The program will begin airing on the 11th at 9pm.
