Oregon ∙ Three people were killed when a plane crashed into a house in Oregon. The small plane crashed in a residential area near the Portland International Airport around 10:30 a.m. Saturday.

Earlier, the authorities had informed that two people who were on the plane and one person from the house were missing. All three were later confirmed dead. The fire also spread to nearby houses.

Six families were evacuated, Gresham Fire Chief Scott Lewis said. Due to the accident, there has been a power outage in the area. Aviation authorities will start an investigation into the incident.
