NAIROBI ∙ The Kenyan serial killer was caught by the police after a tactical investigation. The police found crucial evidence about the accused during the investigation conducted on the mobile phone of one of the victims. Following this, the police and DCI arrested the accused Collins Jumaisi Khalusha from near the bar on Monday morning at 3 o’clock.
The police found several mobile phones, identity cards, knives believed to have been used to kill the victims, rubber gloves, rolls of cello tape, and nylon bags used to dispose of the bodies found in the garbage dump from the suspect’s house.
A relative of one of the missing women asked the police to search the garbage dump. The police said that nine dead bodies were found during the search. Women aged between 18 and 30 were killed. The defendant committed the first crime in 2022. The police said that the first person who killed his wife was himself. The investigation team is trying to unravel the murder series of the suspect who was involved in crimes continuously until July 11 this year.
The suspect was arrested after the bodies of six women were found in a garbage dump in Nairobi last Friday. The arrested suspect Collins Jumaisi Khalusha (33) revealed to the police that he killed 42 women including his wife and left the bodies in the garbage dump. The police said that the reason behind the murders is not clear and the investigation is ongoing. Defendant Collins Jumaisi will appear in court today.
