Opens at 10am… Market closes at 4:30 PM
The Korea Exchange will temporarily change its trading hours on the 14th of next month, which is the date of the college entrance exam.
The Korea Exchange announced that on the day of the college entrance exam, trading hours for the regular market and the after-hours market before market opening will be postponed by one hour.
The regular market where stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and exchange-traded securities (ETNs) are traded previously operated from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., but on CSAT days, it opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 4:30 p.m. The chapter ends. Trading of warrants, warrants, stock warrants, beneficiary certificates, and bonds also takes place at the same time.
Trading in the after-hours market, which is held before the market opens, will also begin at 9:30 (closing price), one hour later than before. After the market closes, the opening time of the after-hours market (3:40 p.m., competitive block trading) is delayed by one hour, but the trading end time remains the same at 6 p.m.
The opening and closing times of stock and interest rate derivatives markets, such as KOSPI 200 futures and government bond futures, will also be delayed by one hour. However, the opening times for currency products such as US dollar futures, gold futures markets, and night markets are delayed by one hour.
Oil and emissions markets are traded without change in trading hours. The opening hours of the gold market will be delayed by one hour and will be open from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
