(Motorsport-Total.com/Motor1) – Born for the racetrack. Homologated for the road. These are the words that begin the press release announcing the debut of the Aston Martin Valiant, which is visually and technically related to the Valour, but takes every element to a new level.

If you have the expertise of one of the best and most famous racing drivers in the world, you should take advantage of this opportunity. The new Aston Martin Valiant was specially designed at the request of Fernando Alonso which represents Aston Martin in the colours of the Aston Martin Aramco team on the Formula 1 tracks of the world.
The Spanish superstar wanted a lighter, sportier and more extreme version of the Valour. And how can you become a two-time F1 world champion and two-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans refuse a wish?
Exterior
The fact that the Valiant is derived from the Valour is evident in many places, from the front to the rear. It goes without saying, however, that it significantly sharpens the style of the basic model. The shapes of the English sports car are not so much designed to please everyone – although this design certainly captivates us – but rather to be effective. Shapes that follow function: to cut through the air as well as possible.
From the 21-inch magnesium wheels to the rear spoiler, from the corrugated fenders to the truncated tail, everything plays an aerodynamic role. In addition to aerodynamics, another important aspect is the weight, which has been significantly reduced by using carbon fiber for every square inch of the body.
Not to forget the exhaust system, which is framed by the rear diffuser – four pipes made of titanium that give the V12 an even more spectacular voice.
interior
An open gearshift gate in a carbon housing, the mechanics behind it completely visible – here is the undisputed star of the interior of the Aston Martin Valiant: the 6-speed manual transmission, matched to the V12 engine. A mechanical masterpiece that creates a unique car.

Limited to two people, the interior only has two carbon fiber seats. This material is also used for many other details and alternates with Alcantara, leather and other materials.
The Aston Martin Valiant is made for the racetrack and features racing harnesses, an integrated half cage and many other elements from motorsport. An analogue racing car that does not forego digital, as the two monitors for instrumentation and infotainment prove.
engine
Under the hood lurks a 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine producing 745 horsepower and 753 Nm of torque, kept in check by a carbon-ceramic braking system with 410mm discs at the front and 360mm discs at the rear. Performance figures have not yet been released, but they certainly live up to the hype.

Apart from the engine under the long bonnet – which, by the way, does not have any kind of electrification – the new Aston Martin super sports car is full of technical innovations compared to the Valour. For example, there are the new Multimatic Adaptive Spool Valve (ASV) dampers, which can adjust the response of the chassis practically in real time. A particularly sophisticated system from motorsport.
Of course, there are also different driving modes to adjust numerous parameters such as the engine’s response, tuning, and so on to suit every situation and preference.
Prices
Only 38 Aston Martin Valiants will be produced and prices are unknown. Considering that demand for the Valour was over a million euros, its hottest version could easily reach 1.5 million.
Its premiere is for the Goodwood Festival of Speed where he will drive on the legendary English hill with superstar Fernando Alonso, his godfather and first customer, at the wheel.
