[Kyodo News, September 4]The Japan Electrical Industry Federation revealed on September 3 the details of the exhibits at the “Electric Power Pavilion Possibility Egg” at the Osaka Kansai Expo 2025. By playing games with a handheld luminous egg-shaped device, children can simulate and experience future energy technologies such as nuclear fusion power generation and wireless power supply.

The Power Pavilion is egg-shaped and is composed of many planes. The handheld device can change colors and vibrate. It is said that children can happily learn about 30 new technologies such as nuclear fusion, tidal energy and vibration power generation through games with images.

The pavilion is located near the east entrance of the Expo site, outside the large roof “RING”. It is being constructed by Yamato House Industry and other companies and is scheduled to be completed by the end of February next year.

At a press conference held in Osaka, Yasunobu Okada of the federation, who will serve as the director of the Electric Power Museum, said: “I hope that children who will shoulder the future will experience the possibilities of energy.” (END)
