New Delhi: An Indian family who came to Pakistan to attend a wedding is seeking help to return to the country. They have been staying in Pakistan for two years due to visa issues. The family members are demanding the intervention of the central government to bring them back.

Majid Hussain married Pakistani citizen Tahir Jabeen in 2007. They were then brought to India and settled in Rampur, UP. They went to Pakistan in 2022 to attend Tahir’s brother’s wedding. However, they remained in Pakistan for two more days after the expiry of their three-month visa. This is why their arrival in India is in crisis.

Then they made several attempts to come to India but none of them succeeded. Majid’s mother and sisters are still staying in Rampur. They want the central government to intervene to bring Majid and his family back home.

Mother Phamida said that Majid had called and said that he was experiencing a big crisis as he could not reach India. Shakir Ali, their relative, said that the reason for the problems was the constant rejection of Tahiri’s application if she got visas for Majeed and the children.
