The 2024 Pingtung Railway Culture and Tourism Festival, which will be held in November, will launch five blue-skinned trains, as well as railway day reading activities, starting at 12 noon tomorrow (October 1). The Pingtung Railway Cultural Tourism Festival will open at Nanzhou Sports Park on November 2. This year’s event will be combined with the “Southern Reading Festival”, teaming up with 5 independent bookstores and performing arts to take advantage of the victory and add 5 more trips of the Blue Line to bring nostalgia to the scene. The train transforms into a mobile bookstore. In addition to experiencing the railway scenery of southern Taiwan, you can also enjoy exciting and rich art performances.
The Cultural Department of Pingtung County Government stated that it will launch 5 shows from November 10 to December 15, respectively with “De. My House”, “Aidu Picture Book House”, “Yongsheng No. 5”, “Xiaoyang. Rizai” Cooperate with independent bookstores such as “Bookstore” and “Qimu Humanities Space”, and invite teams such as Corn Chicken Theater Troupe, Taitung Philharmonic Orchestra, Star Theater, Hsinchu Symphony Wind Orchestra, and Artist Performance and Production Group to participate in the performance.
