“Thanks for nothing”: Green politician’s criticism of the railway backfires

Referreport

That was probably nothing: Green politician Renate Künast had to take a lot of criticism with an article about Deutsche Bahn on X – and all because of just a few minutes.

The 68-year-old posted a picture of the Deutsche Bahn travel center at Berlin Central Station and wrote: “Thanks for nothing. “

+++ Unnecessary action: man stops train and is rewarded +++

But what exactly for now? Probably for the fact that the travel center doesn’t open until 9 a.m., but she’s obviously too early. She continues: “5 employees in the travel center at the HBF Berlin. 7 people outside, but it’s not 9 o’clock yet.” And then: “It was possible to be a little nice, right?”

The politician’s post has now been deleted. (Photo: Screenshot/X)

There is no special treatment for a former Federal Minister of Agriculture. Rather, X is receiving criticism. Also because the faces of the railway employees can be seen in her picture.

+++ Conversations on the train: I don’t want to know all that! +++

Many users cannot understand the ex-minister’s criticism; after all, rules apply to them too – just like any other citizen.

The politician has since deleted the post.
