The draw for the 106th National High School Baseball Championship Nagano Tournament was held in Shiojiri City on June 22nd, and the opponents for the 73 participating teams were decided. The city of Oshiojiri, which won the spring prefectural tournament and defeated Seiryo (Ishikawa), one of the top four in the Hokushinetsu tournament, to take the runner-up spot, will lead the overall strength. The opening game will be played on July 6th at four stadiums: Sekisui Heim Matsumoto Stadium, Nagano Olympic Stadium, Prefectural Ueda Baseball Stadium, and Shinkin Lake Suwa Stadium.
