A shooting at a high school in the southern United States has left at least 13 people dead and injured.
A 14-year-old student at the school was detained.
According to investigators, a shooting occurred at Apalachee High School in Windermere, near Atlanta, Georgia, on the morning of the 4th, leaving four people dead, including two teachers and two students, and nine people taken to the hospital.

Investigators announced they had taken into custody a 14-year-old boy who attends the school.
According to local media, the school received a threatening phone call on the morning of the incident saying, “There will be shootings at five schools, the first of which will be Apalachee High School.” Investigative authorities are currently investigating the motive for the attack and whether there may be any connections to the phone calls.
