Officials in the Czech Republic have said that an armed attacker opened fire on one of the universities in Prague, the capital of the country, on Thursday, December 21 (30) and killed at least 15 people and injured 24 before escaping. He injured others.
Martin Vondrašek, head of the Prague police, told reporters at the scene that the attacker was a 24-year-old university student. He added that this event is not related to “international terrorism”.
According to Vondrasik, before the shooting happened, the police were looking for the attacker, because he said the police had found the body of the attacker’s father in a village west of Prague.

The shelling at Charles University’s Faculty of Arts is located near the main tourist attractions of Prague.
