Samsung has been offering ultra smartphones for years, which represent the spearhead of the group. However, there is only one Ultra model per year that is equipped with the largest display. According to the latest rumors, Samsung could be working on a smaller Ultra phone to better compete against Apple’s regular Pro iPhone.

Samsung could be working on a smaller ultra smartphone

Samsung currently offers an ultra smartphone with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The Note series has been incorporated there and an S Pen is integrated. There is also the Galaxy S23 (test) and Galaxy S23 Plus, which technically cannot really keep up with the S23 Ultra. According to a well-known source, Samsung could be taking a new path. Supposedly should the company is planning a smaller ultra cell phone (Source: @Tech_Reve).

Interestingly, the source claims that this smaller Ultra phone from Samsung should not belong to the normal Galaxy S series, but rather Could become part of the FE series. It’s supposed to be a type Answer to Apple’s regular Pro iPhone act. As an example: A possible Galaxy S25 FE Ultra could line up against the iPhone 16 Pro.

However, specific version numbers are not mentioned and no time window is knownwhen such a smartphone could appear. The source only says that there would probably be early plans at Samsung to create an alternative to Apple’s normal Pro iPhone. It is not clear whether these will even become a reality.
