Kiev: 41 people were killed in Russia’s missile attack on Ukraine. More than 180 people were injured. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia fired two ballistic missiles at a military institute in the Ukrainian city of Poltava.

Russia has been stepping up its offensive into Ukraine for several weeks. Missiles were also fired at the capital Kyiv on Monday. In response to the Russian aggression, Ukraine has carried out drone attacks on Russian territory in recent days. After this, Russia launched a heavy missile attack today.

Ukraine carried out drone attacks targeting energy plants in Russia. A fire broke out after drone debris fell on the premises of a Moscow oil refinery. Violent explosions also occurred near the Kanakawa power plant in the Tivir region of central Russia. Russian officials said 158 drones were shot down in different provinces overnight. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been going on for two and a half years.
