Kiev: 41 people were killed in Russia’s missile attack on Ukraine. More than 180 people were injured. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Russia fired two ballistic missiles at a military institute in the Ukrainian city of Poltava.

Ukraine carried out drone attacks targeting energy plants in Russia. A fire broke out after drone debris fell on the premises of a Moscow oil refinery. Violent explosions also occurred near the Kanakawa power plant in the Tivir region of central Russia. Russian officials said 158 drones were shot down in different provinces overnight. Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has been going on for two and a half years.
