The victim girl is European and her family used to come to India regularly. So they were now permanently settled in Goa. A family from Bihar lived next to their house. The victim’s daughter was playing with the accused’s daughter. The accused hails from Bihar and is a construction worker. He lives in a rented room in Goa. Both the families were in contact as these two families lived nearby.

As the children of both these families were playing together, they were interacting. However, during this period, the 29-year-old accused raped the victim. A case has been registered against the accused under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses (POSCO) Act and the Goa Children Act. The accused has been arrested by the Goa Police after a case was duly registered.

Sexual abuse of two minor girls in Badlapur

Badlapur Sexual Assault incident took place on 13th August in Badlapur boarding school. Akshay Shinde, a cleaning worker, sexually abused two little girls. Then he was arrested on 17th. Meanwhile, the SIT was formed in this case. This special committee gave important information about the two trustees of the school. The SIT has taken up the matter for investigation.
