The country music festival “Country Gold” will be held for the first time in five years on October 20th at the Kumamoto Prefectural Open-Air Theater Aspecta in Minamiaso Village.
Country Gold, which began in 1989, was held every year on the third Sunday of October, designated as “Promise Day,” and ended in 2019.
However, due to requests from fans, it was revived in the form of a “class reunion.”
This time, seven groups are scheduled to participate, including Charlie Nagatani & Cannonball and the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific.
Charlie Nagatani of the executive committee expressed his enthusiasm, saying, “I think this will be a day that people all over the country have been waiting for. We will do our best this time as well.”
