Deir al-Balah: The distribution of polio drops that started on Saturday in Gaza, which was devastated by the Israeli attack, intensified on Sunday. Children in central Gaza will be given the drops until Wednesday.

Vaccination will then be carried out in the northern and southern parts of Gaza. The World Health Organization said that the vaccination will continue till September 9. The vaccine is distributed in 160 centers including medical centers and schools.

Children under 10 years of age are given two drops in two doses. Second vaccination four weeks later. The attack took place early Sunday morning, despite Israel agreeing to suspend military operations for polio vaccinations. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that 61 people were killed in the past 24 hours.
