Tourists are enjoying a different view than usual at a tourist attraction in Rome, Italy, where the water has been drained.

A temporary pedestrian bridge was installed on the 9th at the Trevi Fountain, a tourist attraction in Rome that has been undergoing maintenance work since last month. The water had been drained from the spring, and tourists were able to enjoy views that they would not normally get to see, such as seeing the sculptures up close.

“Please take this opportunity to come and see one of the most precious artistic fountains in the world.”

The pedestrian bridge will allow up to 130 people to cross at a time and will remain in place until the end of this year, when construction is expected to be completed.

The Trevi Fountain is known for the legend that if you throw a coin in with your back turned, you will be able to visit Rome again, and there is also a pool in the drained fountain for you to throw coins into.
