If you find yourself wondering how to get the bones you so desperately need as you progress through your Palworld playthrough, then look no further. In this guide we will explain which Pals will give you the rare resource.

Where can I find bones?

In Palworld you can get bones by Defeat or capture specific Pals in battle. But neither do many types of Pal drop bones, nor can they be assigned to a specific element, which is why searching for them can prove difficult. That’s why we’ve listed all the Pals below who have a chance of dropping bones.

These Pals drop bones:

• Rushoar
• Vixy
• Vanwyrm
• Cawgnito
• Loupmoon
• Gorirat
• Maraith
• Bushi
• Verdash
• Anubis

Whether you fight or capture the Pals makes no relevant difference in terms of the drop chance. However, you will receive significantly more experience points if you manage to add them to your team.

West of the starting area you will find the habitat of Rushoar and Vixy. These Pals do not have a high level, especially in the southern regions, and can therefore be easily defeated. If you want to go even faster: Rushoar is weak against Grass Pals and Vixy is vulnerable to Dark Element Pals.

As soon as you meet a new Pal and defeat him in battle, you can see the location. To do this, go to the menu and open the “Paldex” tab. Click here on a Pal of your choice and select the “Habitat” button.

However, there is another way you can get bones: Dealer. North of the “Small Village” fast travel point you will find a merchant who will sell you a bone for 100 gold coins. So if you urgently need a few bones, this is the quickest way to find them.

Use of bones

You need bones, similar to pale sap, to produce technologies. For example, you need the resource to build one mega gliders (Level 18). However, bones otherwise have a rather indirect use: they are part of cement (Level 19).

And cement is part of many important structures. This is how you can do it flowerbed (Level 24), which increases your Pals’ collecting ability, can only be built using cement. Those too Tera Sphere (Level 27), which allows you to catch quite strong Pals, requires the building material. In addition to bones, cement is made with palsap and stone. So it can be worthwhile to accumulate such resources early in the game.
