North Korea (AFP) – North Korea’s state-run Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) announced on the 12th that it has developed a new multiple rocket artillery control system that will “qualitatively change” the country’s defense capabilities.

KCNA reported that the Academy of National Defense Science “successfully conducted a controlled trajectory firing experiment of a 240 mm caliber multiple rocket artillery” with the aim of developing controllable artillery shells and trajectory control systems.

The new rocket launcher, as well as the “more” role it could play on the battlefield, will be “re-evaluated” in the future.

This year, nuclear-armed North Korea declared South Korea its “main enemy” and declared that it would abandon its policy of reunification. He warned that any violation of its territory “even by 0.001 millimeter” could lead to war. (c)AFP
