Nissan Motor, which unilaterally reduced the amount it paid to subcontractors, has postponed the submission of preventative measures to the Fair Trade Commission, which was scheduled to be submitted by the end of this month, until next month, JNN has learned.

In March of this year, Nissan Motor Co. received a warning from the Fair Trade Commission for violating the Subcontract Act by unilaterally reducing payments to 36 parts manufacturers, and stated that it would submit measures to prevent recurrence by this month.

However, according to sources, Nissan has not yet completed interviews with its suppliers and will postpone the submission of measures to prevent recurrence until next month or later.

As complaints from some business partners continued even after the March recommendation, Nissan set up a new department directly under the president this month to continue holding hearings, and it is said that it is taking time to put together countermeasures.
