On the 29th, actress Akari Takaishi (21) was chosen to be the heroine of NHK’s late 2025 TV drama series “Bakebake” and attended a press conference at the station in Chuo Ward, Osaka City.
Takaishi, who appeared with tears in her eyes, said, “Ever since I was little, it was my dream to become the heroine of a morning drama.” She revealed that when she was in the fourth grade of elementary school, her homeroom teacher told her, “I want to see you become the heroine of a morning drama.” I achieved my dream by trying out an audition.
During the press conference, postcards with a handwritten message and illustration from Takaishi saying, “To all the members of the press who are here today” were distributed, and after the press conference, production supervisor Kunio Hashizume asked, “’Can we do this?’ I was asked about it, so I think it would be a pleasure to do it,” he said from behind the scenes.
She is the first heroine to appear independently from Avex Management Agency since Kawaei Rina (29) in “Come Come Everybody” in late 2021.
