Enhance customer experience on digital platforms
Mr. Bui Trung Kien, Deputy General Director of Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation, said: Developed since 2016, the EVNHCMC customer care application (App) on mobile devices has undergone a process of improvement and constant change. Up to now, the latest version of the App has been released to electricity customers in the City. The upgraded version focuses on optimizing customer experience. Through the App, the City’s electricity sector better understands the behavior and desires of customers when using the App, thereby proposing solutions to personalize the customer experience, bringing customers a vivid, effective, and convenient experience environment with functions and utilities suitable for modern trends. Customers can build a more flexible, proactive, efficient, and economical electricity usage plan, contributing to environmental protection and reducing economic costs for families, businesses, and society.

With a smart mobile device installed with the EVNHCMC App, electricity customers will receive all customer care notifications from the electricity industry, as well as contact the Ho Chi Minh City electricity industry anytime, anywhere and will be quickly received and resolved by Ho Chi Minh City Electricity Corporation for all matters related to electricity services. When using the App, customers can easily monitor their daily electricity consumption accurately. With a friendly, easy-to-use interface, customers can quickly look up electricity bills; electricity indexes and payment history in the most convenient way. Monitor electricity usage through load charts and abnormal warnings, helping customers easily monitor and manage electricity consumption. At the same time, customers can link and manage their multiple electricity purchase contracts right on the same application through the electricity point connection. Customers can use the “electricity estimate” tool to estimate the power consumption of each electrical device in the home, helping to use electricity more efficiently and economically.
At the same time, all information about electricity, including meter reading schedule, electricity supply schedule, sending requests and monitoring the progress of electricity services such as issuing new electricity purchase contracts, changing/adding contract information, extending/terminating electricity purchase contracts, temporarily suspending electricity use; services for checking and verifying measuring equipment, monitoring electricity consumption indexes… are all provided online through the App.
Use biometrics or identity accounts to secure information
The representative of the electricity industry affirmed that customer information security is implemented very strictly. Accordingly, the new version of the customer care application has been enhanced by the Corporation in terms of safety and information security with the biometric login feature, or with a citizen identification account in the digital environment (VNeID). Customers can know whether their phone number registered with the Electricity industry is their own phone number or not to update it, and customers can also track phone numbers that are linked to electricity points on the application.
