Samsung was actually expected to present all new products at a Galaxy Unpacked event in early July 2024. In fact, this is probably not the case. A new smartwatch is scheduled to be launched at the end of June 2024. Amazon revealed this secret in advance, spoiling Samsung’s surprise.

Samsung Galaxy Watch FE already in June according to Amazon

The leaks about the new cheap smartwatch Galaxy Watch FE don’t stop. Now it has been announced that the smartwatch will not be officially presented at the Unpacked event on July 10, 2024, but much earlier. According to Amazon, sales are scheduled to start on June 24, 2024. It is therefore quite possible that Samsung will simply present the new smartwatch via press release and then put it on sale for 199 euros. Amazon has also confirmed the price (source: SamMobile).

Technically, the Galaxy Watch FE will probably be based on the Galaxy Watch 4At least that is what the leaked technical data promises:

But that doesn’t matter, because Apple does something similar with its products. Galaxy Watch FE could still be quite interestingbecause it will be provided with software updates from the date of sale. This means it will be supported for significantly longer than the older Galaxy Watch 4. If that doesn’t bother you, you can get the older model very cheaply at Aldi.

The Galaxy Watch FE would also be perfect as a free gift when selling new smartphones. A similar promotion has already been leaked before. So it will be exciting to see when the new watch actually comes out.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 coming in July

The earlier launch of the Galaxy Watch FE could also be implemented so as not to steal the show from the other watches. On July 10, 2024, Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch 7 Classic and Galaxy Watch Ultra. A fourth watch would probably just be too much.
