Meanwhile, during the Corona period, the audience was not able to watch movies in theaters, many new movies hit the box office badly as the audience turned away. Many big actors’ films also failed. During the Corona period, OTT was very much preferred by the audience. They could watch movies, shows, web series from all over the world sitting at home, so the audience going to theaters was very less. People tended to watch movies at home, resulting in losses for filmmakers. Now in three-four years the situation has improved a lot. As the audience is being offered this on the occasion of National Film Day, it will be important to see which films will benefit from it.
