“Omusubi” is a youth graffiti series in which the heroine Yui Yoneda (Kanna Hashimoto), born in 1989, connects people’s hearts and the future as a nutritionist. The story portrays a woman who embraces the “gal spirit” of valuing her individuality at all times and moves forward powerfully through the turbulent Heisei and Reiwa eras. The drama is currently airing the first week of “Omusubi and Gal” (episodes 1 to 5), in which Yui, who entered the local Itoshima Higashi High School, meets a variety of people, and among them, she meets her older sister, Ayumu. It depicts how (Riisa Naka) is recruited by Hagaren, who served as the first president.
