The 111th morning drama tells the story of the heroine Yui Yoneda (Kanna Hashimoto), born in 1989, who becomes a nutritionist who supports people’s health with a “gal spirit” that values her individuality at all times. What was released on this day was an uncut, uncredited version of the opening video in which Hashimoto energetically dances to the theme song “Illumination” written by B’z for this work. The director was Jun Tamukai, a videographer and graphic designer who is popular for his innovative pop videos, including Kyary Pamyu Pamyu’s music videos. The choreography was created by TAKAHIRO, who used to be a back-up dancer for Madonna, and the illustrations by noted illustrator Sanremo brighten up the video.
Comment from Jun Tamukai
“We aimed for an opening that would make Yui’s energy jump out from the screen.During the 125 broadcasts, I think that both Yui and the viewers will have different mornings. The way they feel about it may differ little by little. However, I hope that I can bring you some nourishing energy on any morning.”
TAKAHIRO’s comment
“The opening video choreography includes many poses seen in the Heisei era.Of course there are poses from gal culture, but also poses inspired by Heisei anime. The video shows Yui’s vibrant smile. I’m very happy to be a part of this project. I hope it brings you energy in the morning!
Sanremo’s comment
