Thiruvananthapuram – Sports Minister V. Abdurrahiman and his team returned to Spain. The minister’s office said that the meeting with the Argentina team representatives will be held in Madrid, the capital of Spain. The Minister is accompanied by the Secretary and Director of the Sports Department.

Officials of the sports department had communicated with the Argentine Football Federation last year. The minister had also informed last January that the team had sent an e-mail expressing their willingness to come to Kerala to play in October next year.

It was stated that Argentina will play 2 matches in Kerala and one of them will be in the newly constructed stadium in Malappuram.
