(File photo) In Okinawa Prefecture, Maruo Construction ranked first in the top 10 for revenue growth. It increased 181.6% from the previous term, thanks to large-scale construction projects such as the Akamine Tunnel (Naha City) and the Ground Self-Defense Force’s Ishigakijima Camp. In second place, Oshirogumi increased 41.9%, thanks to the relocation of the University of the Ryukyus Hospital and the construction of apartment buildings for real estate developers both in and outside the prefecture.
