Lotte Ventures holds ‘L-CAMP 12th & Busan 6th, Future Diet 4th’ acceleration program completion ceremony
Lotte Ventures announced on the 2nd that it completed the accelerator program for 12 startups that participated in the 12th L-CAMP & Busan 6th, Miraesic: Dan 4th programs and held a graduation ceremony. This accelerator program began with Lotte Ventures’ investment reviewers matching each startup on a 1:1 basis to establish milestones and set indicators from the early stages. To achieve milestones and solve corporate business problems, we actively supported strengthening the capabilities of startups through customized mentoring for each company, market verification programs, expert office hours, and networking. Collaboration with Lotte Group affiliates was conducted for PoC (Proof of Technology).

Lutton collaborates with Psionic AI
Lutten Technologies, an AI (artificial intelligence) service platform company, signed an MOU with Psionic AI, an AI B2B platform company, to advance AI search service infrastructure. The two companies decided to cooperate to target the world with their proven technology. Using this MOU as an opportunity, the two companies plan to create synergy in both B2C and B2B sectors when entering the global market through mutual cooperation and lead the distribution and expansion of AI search and services based on Korean AI company technology in the global market. Lutton provides faster and more comfortable B2C AI services by utilizing Psionic AI’s creation AI operation platform ‘Storm’ and infrastructure optimization technology. Psionic AI develops and provides corporate infrastructure based on Lutton’s AI search technology to develop global B2B business.

Viv Studios, new updates including addition of webtoon style to AI photo solution ‘Play On’
Viv Studios, an artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual production company, has updated its experiential AI photo solution ‘Play On’ by adding various functions. PlayOn is a photobooth-type solution that uses AI technology to allow users to create their own image as a character or convert it into various appearances. It provides shooting modes such as ‘Playtoon’, which converts the user’s appearance into a cartoon drawing style, and ‘AI Profile’, which allows users to take profiles with various genders and occupations.

Ministry of SMEs and Startups holds venture investment roadshow with participating companies in regulation-free special zones
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups held the ‘Venture Investment Roadshow with Participating Companies in Regulation-Free Special Zone’ event at Tips Town S6 in Seoul on the 3rd. This event has been led by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups from 2022 and co-hosted by the Korea Venture Capital Association and the Small and Medium Venture Business Corporation to provide private investment opportunities for companies participating in the special zone and to enable the regulation-free special zone to drive regional growth. This road show includes Planty Farm in the 3rd Gyeongbuk Industrial Hemp Special Zone, which provides services for the entire process from vertical farm construction to distribution, Radix in the 3rd Daegu Mobile Collaborative Robot Special Zone, which builds a smart factory through linking up and down systems, and Digital Using AI. Eight promising companies participated, including One Soft Dime in the Daegu Smart Wellness Special Zone, which provides treatment and health care services, and PLG, the fifth Smart Green Logistics in Gyeongbuk, which is building an urban smart logistics base for the last mile.

Team Sparta holds an offline seminar for HRD practitioners
IT startup Team Sparta is holding an offline seminar to resolve job training design concerns of HRD practitioners. This event, planned by Team Sparta with the goal of resolving the practical concerns of HRD (Human Resources Development) managers, will be held at the Space Share Samsung Station Center in Seoul from 3 p.m. on the 12th. It will be conducted for 100 HRD managers who are thinking about design methods ahead of the annual training design period or who want to go beyond DX (digital transformation) and realize artificial intelligence transformation (AX) for their companies through the introduction of AI education.
