KT announced on the 16th that it will pay a total of 119.4 billion won in cash to small and medium-sized partners in advance of the upcoming Lunar New Year holiday. This time, group companies such as KT Commerce and KT Alpha also participated.
KT has been paying its suppliers in advance every year before the holidays, and is providing support in various ways to stabilize the management of its suppliers, such as operating a low-interest win-win cooperation fund worth 100 billion won for suppliers suffering from financial difficulties.
Meanwhile, KT is implementing the ‘Clean KT Campaign’ to strengthen ethical management practices. It is prohibited to exchange gifts with stakeholders such as partner companies, and if a gift is unavoidably delivered to an executive or employee, it must be returned to the sender with a rejection letter or donated to a volunteer organization.
KT is one of the six companies that received the highest rating for 10 consecutive years among the 232 companies subject to the win-win growth index evaluation, and has continuously operated a win-win cooperation program for 10 years.
Wonjun Lee, Executive Director of KT’s Purchasing Department, said, “KT pays the delivery price early before the holiday every year to alleviate the financial difficulties of our partners during the holidays.” He added, “KT will continue to grow together with our partners and strive to further develop the AICT ecosystem.” said.
